Hi! I’m Ingrid Zapata Read—2x founder, community builder, strategist, connector, podcast host (and co-host), and mom to two wild and wonderful boys.

Let’s cut to the chase: community is my superpower.

I learned early how much we rely on connection to thrive. Moving to a new country as a child—and later starting over 1,800 miles away after college—taught me one thing: life is easier, fuller, and more joyful when you have your people.

When I became a mom, I realized how isolating it could feel to balance work, identity, and ambition without a support system. So, I built one. Working Momkind started as a passion project and grew into a global community of 218,000+ career-driven and entrepreneurial moms, plus a private space of 1,700 members navigating motherhood together during the pandemic.

And then I realized something big:
Founders and businesses needed the same kind of connection.

After working at a startup that was acquired and spending time freelancing, I saw firsthand how many brands were building audiences—but not communities. They had followers, not belonging. Visibility, but not depth. Momentum, but not connection.

So I launched
